Running Condition, Starts, Drives, and Pumps Water. Broadview Ill. Fire Engine 215 decals throughout. Made to order for the Broadview Illinois Fire Department and manufactured in Elmira New York in 1951 for delivery in 1952. This Fire Engine is the 1st brand new vehicle for the Broadiew Illinois  Fire Department back in 1952 and includes a Federal Q2B (B for Brake) Siren mounted to the front bumper and a Sterling Model 30 siren mounted to the top of the windshield. Also includes a 5" soft suction hose as well as 2 5" hard suction hose mounted to the Officers side of the Engine, 1000 gallon per minute capacity water tank, 2 Double 5" Female hydrant connectors, National Standard Fittings pipe threads throughout., 6 2 1/2 - 1 1/2" Nozzles (Includes 2 American LaFrance nozzles with smooth bore straight stream and multi versal straight-spray, Akron and Elkhart straight streams, Larkin Elkhart brass model Chief Nozzle, and a Elkhart multi versal), 3 section extension ladder by alcolite (35' extension), 14ft roof ladder, folding closet ladder, 2 flathead axes on the drivers side , pick axe and Officers pick axe on Officers side, 10ft pipe poll with Broadview engravings, Rear has 2 1/2-1 1/2" reducers, battery chargers Unit A and B, 3 hose spaners, 5 gallon hand pump, pressurized water ext. and 1 soda acid, boost hose reel located on top of Engine with nozzle, Large Deluge Gun with Master Stream 3 inlet with Akron foghog nozzle, and Original Owners Manual. 1952 American LaFrance V12 Gasoline Engine with 21,009 original moto miles and 38,166 pump/engine miles. 8 1/2 ' Tall by 26' Long by 7' 6" Wide 
You probably won't find a more complete fire engine that is almost 70 years old.  Original finds like these seldom come up for auction.
